![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() All licenses include full source code Every game license is shipped with the Flash source code (.fla files) and any related files including .as files (Actionscript files), .text files (text files for externally loaded data), and .xml files (XML files for externally loaded data). Note: not all games load data externally. All code is code commented in English. No code is obfuscated. For AS3 code, we limit the use of multiple .as files to maker it easier for programmers to customize the code. Games are delivered via download link upon payment. Download links are sent via e-mail usually within 20 minutes of payment.* All licenses include AS2 and AS3 We ship the AS2 and AS3 versions of the games with every license. Over half of the games are also available in AS1 and we can ship that codebase version upon request. All licenses include all variations We have made variations of some games. For example, Add Like Mad, Subtraction Action, and Multiplication Station are all based on the same game engine. You need only license one of those games to get all 3 game variations. We also have many holiday variations of games. For instance our standard Wordsearch game also has a Christmas version. Both are shipped to you when the game is licensed. All licenses include one to one consultation PDF and word document tutorials don't answer all your questions. To more efficiently get you acclimated to customizing the games, we provide up to 15 minutes of consultation (using Skype or Go To Meeting) per game license (available in English only). During the consultation you can see our computer screen and, if necessary (and if you give permission) we can see your computer screen. We demonstrate how to customize the games and answer your specific questions. Most games are constructed similarly. So once you understand how to customize one of the games, you have a head start on the other games. Therefore the 15 minutes per game license is rarely needed when you license many games and we can often use that time to answer more detailed questions or even tutor those new to Flash in the basics of Flash. In addition to the consultation, many games have tutorial videos. When we have a video for the game we send a link to that video along with the links for the games when you initially license the games. Most games include quiz option The majority of our games can be used for educational purposes by utilizing the optional quiz feature in the game. The quiz options are set up so that frequents occur in the game that cause the game play to stop and a quiz question appears. After the player answer a question correctly, game play resumes. See the Super Space Blaster game for an example. This feature is optional so that you can have both an educational and non-educational version of the game. All games are delivered with our branding removed and there are no hidden adds or links to our site. Furthermore, we do not offer our games for free with ads in them as we believe this lessens the value of our games to our licensees. Games include high quality graphics and audio When you license a game from Games in a Flash you are licensed to use or replace any of the graphics, animations, and audio. All Games set up for easy customization We set up the games to be easy to customize for average Flash users. The games are set up using scenes so that you can visually see the progression. Common variables for customize the games are located in on easy to edit place. In the AS2 games we use components and in the AS3 games the code-commented variables are located in the "custom.as" file. These common variables that are set up to be easy to customize include things such are variables for score, time, level of difficulty controls, and other commonly requested variable controls unique to each game (such as how many words to include in a wordsearch game or the number of matching pairs for a matching game). Free Upgrades and bug fixes If we upgrade a game with new features, a new codebase (when Adobe upgrades Actionscript), and common standard bugs and improvements. Free upgrades are perpetual--so even if you have licensed a game 5 years ago, you can still get a free upgrade. Upgrades are delivered upon request. Accumulative license discounting We start any additional or future license discounting based on your previous licenses. For instance, if you licensed games previously for 30% off we will meet or exceed that discount for new licenses (based on whether current specials are as good or better and or our standard multi-game discounts). In other words the minimum discount that repeat licensors will receive is at least the discount received on their last license and higher discounts are possible based on the number of additional games licensed. Note that the 65% off discount enjoyed by those who take advantage of our All Games discount is our maximum discount. * Games in a Flash is located in U.S. Central standard time. To avoid credit card fraud all orders are manually approved. Orders placed after midnight CST might take up to 8 hours to be approved and links sent. We frequently keep late and early hours in order to meet customization deadlines. Therefore it's rare that it takes 8 hours. Off our wait times are usually closer to 3-4 hours. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
